David Cheesbrough (Chairman)
Dave provides direction and leadership for the club.
He helps ensure the smooth running of all aspects in the club in accordance with its rules, constitution and Swim England laws.
Dave oversees decisions made by other club members, sets agendas in club meetings that are run by himself. -
Karen Thompson (Club Secretary)
Karen acts as the main point of contact in the club.
She helps manage to running of administration and organises AGMs, takes the minutes and distributes these as appropriate.
Helps organise club events and other activities. -
Jade Allan (Treasurer)
Jade is responsible for keeping records and accounts of all finances in the club.
She monitors finances throughout the year and makes sure they are used appropriately, presents end of year accounts and projections for the club.
Jade works as an assistant accountant and will be using her transferable skills to help the club. -
Kelsey Goodwin (Welfare Officer)
Kelsey is the first point of contact for club staff, volunteers, young people, and parents for any issues concerning child welfare or potential or alleged abuse.
She aids the club in following and implementing Wavepower, which is Swim England safeguarding policy.
Kelsey ensures all volunteers within the club are DBS checked and other records are up to date.
She also makes sure the clubs code of conducts are followed within the club.
Kelsey is a nursery nurse, room leader and safeguarding leading practitioner. She is well experienced within this role. -
Anna Cheesbrough (Gala Coordinator & SwimMark Coordinator)
Anna is responsible for the bookings of competitions for the club, which are chosen by the head coach for the year.
She makes sure entry times are correctly sent off for events chosen by the swimmers.As the SwimMark Coordinator, Anna makes sure correct information within and about the club sent off in time or updated to Swim England development officers.

Josh Appleton (Website Admin & Membership Secretary)
As the clubs Membership Secretary, Josh makes sure new club members are added to Swim England’s Online Membership System, as well as updating any changed information about the club’s members.
As the website and social media admin Josh is responsible for keeping relevant information updated, adding any news or updates and leading the promotional side of the club.

Victoria Douglas (Coach Coordinator)
Victoria’s role to liaise with volunteers to make sure we have the cover needed for training to commence.

Eve Moxon & Oliver Williams (Team Captains)
The role of team captain is pass on thoughts, concerns and ideas for club activities from swimmers to the committee. The team captain is seen as the representing swimmer and leading role model.

Lifeguard (NPLQ).Studied Sports Performance which includes focus on, nutrition, physiotherapy, training planning and delivery, performance analysis and competing.
Coached at City of Leeds weekly from 2018 to 2021. Worked with their Regional Development and Regional Performance Squads as well as their National Squad on the odd occasion.
Joined Marlins as a swimmer in 2014. Started Coaching in 2016 and became Head Coach in 2022.
Josh’s role as head coach includes, weekly, monthly and yearly planning of the club’s training program, along with leading sessions for A Squad
In the past Josh swam open water at national level, regional at open age and masters at national.
Josh also boxed at amateur level prior to COVID-19.
